First Annual Fundraising Cruise to Bahamas
Myers Park Mustang Organization is in the process of changing the direction the organization is going. We will continue to provide book bags to children during the school year; however, it is time for us to move ahead to create a program that will teach life skills, reduce homeless for children and to encourage higher education after high school. The organization decided to reach out and mentor middle school children; follow them all the way to high school and possible provide scholarships for college. The second goal set was to partners with organizations already established in working with high risk youth. By teaming up with other non-profit organizations MPMCO will become a more effective establishment within the community.
However, in order to reach certain goals the broad members decided to engage in various fundraising events to raise money. The first event is a four day cruise to the Bahamas - August 16-21, 2013, cruise lines provide donation to non-profit groups for each cabin booked. Below are details on the upcoming cruise.
